Steve Truitt

Mr. Truitt was a long-long resident of Thomaston and Upson County, a son of the late Elbert Truitt and Bernice Shafer Truitt. He was a self-employed logger and was the owner of the Truitt and Pitts Logging Company. Mr. Truitt was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Truitt is survived by his wife, Carlene Clarke Truitt; two daughters, Tracy (Todd) Weatherford of Yatesville and Julie Truitt of Barnesville; a sister, Judy Keadle of Yatesville; and four grandchildren, Sierra, Kama and Gabe Weatherford of Yatesville and Noah Ryan of Barnesville.
