Roger Lee Nixon

Mr. Roger Lee Nixon, 68, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Nixon was a native of Upson County. He was employed by Thomaston Mills as a dye mixer and later worked for Thermo King in Chattanooga, TN, in the maintenance division. Mr. Nixon was also a plumber. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Nixon is survived by his wife, Deborah L. Nixon; two daughters, Sherry (Kevin) Adams of Thomaston and Amy Heaton of Macon; a son, Charles Nixon of Thomaston; a brother, Charlie Futch of Thomaston; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
