Rita D. Mameli

Mrs. Rita D. Mameli, 82, of Thomaston, died Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at Riveside Nursing Center. Mrs. Mameli was a native of Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Abraham Sigberman and Eleanor Dell'Abate Sigberman. On October 6th, 1951 Rita married the late Angelo Mameli and she became a homemaker. They moved to Thomaston in 1994. Mrs. mameli is survived by three sons, Walter (Debbie) Mameli of Smithtown, NY, Louis (Laurie) Mameli of Thomaston and Peter (Mary) Mameli of New York City, NY; and four grandchildren, Kristin Mameli of New York City, NY, and Andy Mameli, Tyler Mameli and Claire Mameli, all of Thomaston.
