Rebecca "Becky" Hood Haney

Mrs. Becky Hood Haney, 73, of 843 Greenvale Rd., Thomaston, died Tuesday, July 17th, 2012 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Haney was a native of Griffin. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was a retired secretary for the Plant Manager, Peerless Division, of Thomaston Mills. She was a member of the East Thomaston Baptist Church. Mrs. Haney is survived by her husband of 55 years, Cecil E. Haney; two sons, Robert E. (Clair) Haney of Thomaston and Greg (Phoebe) Haney of Columbus; a sister, Roxie Burnette of Barnesville; a brother, James Hood of Tacoma, WA; and two grandchildren, Becca Haney and Luke Haney, both of Thomaston.
