Nettie Jewel Gregg Echols

Mrs. Nettie Jewel Gregg Echols, 87, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Echols was born in Columbus, a daughter of the late Jessie Trice and Della Sexton Trice. She was a winder for Thomaston Mills until her retirement in January of 1986. Mrs. Echols was a member of the Sylvia HIlls Christian Church. She is survived by three daughters, Janice (Winston) Smith and Carol (Buddy) Williams, both of Thomaston, and Cecile (Edwin) Smith of Woodstock; two sons, Richard (Cindy) Gregg of Thomaston and Mike (Linda) Gregg of Williamson; fourteen grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; and a special friend, Frank Redwine of Thomaston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Gregg.
