Ms. Paula Carroll Madsen

Ms. Paula Carroll Madsen, age 70, of Thomaston, died on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center. 

Ms. Madsen was born in Thomaston, on September 20, 1955, a daughter of the late George Harry Carroll and the late Iris Pauline Traylor Carroll. She attended R.E. Lee Institute, and was a graduate of Southern Crescent Technical College with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. She was employed in the textile industry, having worked at Thomaston Lakeside Plant and Carter's. She was also a waitress and later head waitress for Golden Corral for 15 years. Paula was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching Lifetime TV and General Hospital, and she loved her animals. 

Ms. Madsen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Stephanie (Jerry Collier) Carroll and Amber (Deston Daniel) Galloway; her sister, Vickie (David) Musselwhite; her brother, Hal Carroll, all of Thomaston, her many grandchildren, her three great grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chris Madsen, and her brother, James Franklin Carroll. 

The family is planning a private service at a later time.
