Ms. Mary Ruth Turner

Ms. Mary Ruth Turner, age 61, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Mary was born on August 9, 1964, in Griffin, Georgia, to the late William Davis Turner and Ruby Mae Ratliffe Turner. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed reading, fishing, shopping, and especially loved attending church. She was a faithful attendee of East Thomaston Baptist Church, where she enjoyed worshipping and being part of her church family.

She is survived by her siblings, Joanne (Terry Moore) Singleton, Charles Turner, James Turner, and Billy Turner; along with several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members who will cherish her memory.

No formal services are planned at this time. The family will hold a private memorial gathering at a later date.

Mary will be remembered for the love she shared with those around her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
