Ms. Marsha Gail Posey

Ms. Marsha Gail Posey, age 63, of  Thomaston, died Friday, October 31, 2025, at her residence.  Her family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Ms. Posey was born in Thomaston on February 12, 1962, to the late Rufus Fleming and the late Eleanor Kate Barrett Fleming.  She had been employed by Georgia Avenue Cafe and Sunnyside Cafe.  "Little House on the Prairie" was her favorite TV show.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Posey was preceded in death by her brothers, Robbie and Randy Fleming.

Ms. Posey is survived by her daughter, Melissa Fleming (Joe Fields) of Thomaston; two sons: Matthew Lundy and Michael Fleming; a sister, Teresa Beacham; and a brother, Marti (Jennifer) Rogers.  Several grandchildren, including Easton and Aubree, and many nieces and nephews also survive.
