Ms. Kathy Estelle Adams Morales

Ms. Kathy Estelle Adams Morales, age 80, of Fayetteville, GA, died October 29, 2026, in Fairburn, GA. Her family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home in Thomaston, GA, on Saturday, November 7, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.

Ms. Morales was born in Thomaston on July 19, 1946, to the late John Isaac Adams and the late Laura Juhan Adams. She was a 1964 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was employed as an auditor for Safeway Foods. Ms. Morales enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble, and writing poetry. Some of her poems can be found in the Library of Congress.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Morales was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Lynn Watkins, and several siblings. She is survived by two sons: Kenneth L. (Amy) Watkins of Fayetteville, GA, and Alan Scott Watkins of Thomaston; four grandchildren: Oliver Kenneth Watkins, David Garrett Watkins, Andrew Scott Watkins, and Alana Morgan Watkins. One great grandchild, Waylon Watkins, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
