Mrs. Virginia Pitts Lynch

Mrs. Virginia Pitts Lynch, 84, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Riverside Health and Rehab. Graveside memorial services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at South View Cemetery with Rev. Bill Barber officiating. Mrs. Pitts, a native Upsonian, was born July 22, 1937, to the late Robert J. Pitts and Edna Pilkenton Pitts. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was retired from Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lynch was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomaston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Levann Lynch; a sister, Wilma Hooper; and a brother Robert C. Pitts. Mrs. Lynch is survived by a son, Lee (Jeannette) Lynch of Rio Rancho, NM; two daughters: Kathy (John) Gish of Thomaston, and Debbie (Mitch) Waddell of Ft. Worth, TX. Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements.
