Mrs. Ruby Jewell Belscher

Mrs. Ruby Jewell Belscher, age 98, of Thomaston, died Monday, December 14, 2015 at her home. The family will hold a memorial service for Mrs. Belscher on Sunday, December 20th, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Thomaston with Phillip Smith officiating. Mrs. Belscher was born in Paden, OK on February 17, 1917, a daughter of the late Solomon Nickson Yeager and Docia Cash Yeager. She had been a resident of Thomaston for many years. During her many years as a tailor and seamstress she was employed by Daniel's Men's Shop and the Belk Store. Mrs. Belscher was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Mrs. Belscher is survived by a daughter, Shirley Gigliotti of Thomaston and a son, Leslie (Carol) Belscher of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Beslcher and a son, Adrian 'Nick' Belscher. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
