Mrs. Phyllis Littleton Johnson

Mrs. Phyllis Littleton Johnson, 77, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Harborview Health Care. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church on Monday, October 22, 2018, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dean Hemphill officiating. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Johnson will receive friends at Clarks Chapel Baptist Church on Monday from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour. Mrs. Johnson was born in Thomaston on February 4, 1941, a daughter of the late James and Frances Nichols Littleton. She was formerly an administrative assistant in the Thomaston Mills Corporate Office. More recently she was a volunteer with the Upson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary in the Gift Shop. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Murry and Betty Rae Littleton of Bakersfield, CA; a niece, Tomie Ellen Bradley; a nephew, Keith Johnson; and cousins Marsha Jean Edwards, Lori Ann Lanier, Paula Ward, Brenda Murphy, Jeffrey Murphy, Eddie English, Wayne English and Sandra Jungers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Johnson. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
