Mrs. Margaret Opal Saxon Butler

Mrs. Margaret Opal Saxon Butler, age 77, of Molena, GA, died Friday, October 23, 2020. Funeral services for Mrs. Butler will be held on Tuesday, October 27, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Pastor Jereme Chaney officiating. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA, at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the funeral hour. Mrs. Butler was born on February 21, 1943, in Elberton, GA, to the late Ernest Albert Saxon and Bert Winona Clark Saxon. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Johnson Butler, and a brother, Anglo Saxon. Mrs. Butler is survived by a daughter, Michell (John) Cable of Molena, GA; a son, Danny Butler of Mableton, GA; a sister, Elaine Martin of Elberton, GA; and three granddaughters, Kaylee, Amy, and LeeAnn Guy, all of Molena, GA.
