Mrs. Linda Howell Hortman

Mrs. Linda Howell Hortman, age 62, of Thomaston, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at her residence. Memorial services for Mrs. Hortman will be held on Tuesday, July 21, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Grier officiating. Mrs. Hortman was born on June 22, 1958, to the late Bill Howell and Jean Rowell Howell in Thomaston. She worked as a nurse for Home Health services. She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Nick Mayo) Cobb of Thomaston; Amanda (Nash) Jenkins of Turner County; sisters, Dora Howell, Cheryl Pumphrey, Patricia Smith; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and her life partner, Aaron Cooper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hortman and her sons, David, William and Stevie Hortman.
