Mrs. Lillie Mae Ivie

Mrs. Lillie Mae Darsey Ivie, 92, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at her residence. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ivie will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 1:00PM, in Crystal Hill Cemetery with Rev. Marc Pritchett officiating. Mrs. Ivie was born in Dexter, GA on June 20, 1927, to the late Steve M. Darsey and Ida Fennell Darsey. She had been employed by the Martha Mills, William Carter Co., and J’s Village Shop on Barnesville Street. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include her son, J. C. (Carmen) Ivie of Woodland; brother-in-law, Claud (Helen) Ivie of Rex; four grandchildren: Dawn (Chris) Ivie Russell of Thomaston; Hoyt (Katie) Ivie of Thomaston; Christy (Chad) Sims Johnson of Bethel, OH; Billy (Meda) Sims of Culloden; eight great-grandchildren: Christian Russell, Anna Beth Ivie, Cohen Ivie, Addie Ivie, Payton Rollyson, Hampton Sims, Weston (Julienn) Sims, Madison Sims; great-great-granddaughter: Hadyson Bradley. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Lynwood Hoyt Ivie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Upson Humane Society, P. O.
