Mrs. JoAnne Bradshaw Eubanks, a beloved wife, and mother, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Grace Living Personal Care Home in Marietta at the age of 88.
She was born on April 24, 1937, in Thomaston, Georgia. JoAnne was known for her warmth and devotion to her family, often dedicating her time to nurturing those she loved. A proud graduate of R.E. Lee Institute, JoAnne embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and dedication. She had a passion for sewing, delighting in creating clothes and dolls, which showcased her creativity. JoAnne also had a spirited love for sports, being an ardent fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
JoAnne cherished her family dearly. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Hubert W. Eubanks, her daughter Kathy (Gary) Smith, her son Kevin (Heather) Eubanks, her grandson Josh (Madalyn) Eubanks, and several nieces and nephews. Her family was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Bradshaw and Allie Mae Ruffin Bradshaw, and her siblings, Bonnell Corley, Betty Adams, Jack Bradshaw, Louise Fallin, and Linda Collins. She will be remembered not only for her love of family but also for her kind spirit and the happiness she brought to those around her.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, at 1:00 PM, at Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Travis Graham officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home by 12:30 PM for a funeral procession to the cemetery on Thursday.
