Mrs. Fran Mckinley Morgan

Mrs. Fran McKinley Morgan, 71, of Thomaston, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan will be held Saturday, March 14, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Elder Lee Price officiating. Private interment will follow in the Trice Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 until the funeral hour. Mrs. Morgan was born in Upson County on March 19, 1948, to the late Ferrell McKinley and Frankie Boyt McKinley. She was a graduate of Yatesville High School and was retired from the Payroll Department of B. F. Goodrich Martha Mills. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Flat Rock Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin McKinley. Survivors include her husband, Elder Billy Morgan of Thomaston; a niece, Rita Baughcum of Thomaston; a nephew, Marty McKinley of Hampton, GA; a great niece, Kayla McKinley Appling of Fayetteville, GA; a great nephew, Cody Welch of Goose Creek, SC; a great great niece, Asher Appling, and a great great nephew, Malachi Appling, both of Fayetteville, GA. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Flat Rock Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Maxine Parrish, Clerk, 2148 Briarlake Trace, Atlanta, GA 30345.
