Mrs. Dianne Hitson Riggins

Mrs. Dianne Hitson Riggins, age 70, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Memorial services for Mrs. Riggins will be held Saturday, January 22, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Mrs. Riggins was born in Abbeville, Georgia on November 30, 1951, a daughter of the late William Hitson and the late Elisabeth Rose Hitson. She was a resident of Upson County since her childhood. She was employed with Martha Mills, Shreno's Restuarant, and was self-employed as a cleaning service. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Riggins, a daughter, Sherri (Jerry Wayne Henson) R. Cochran, two sons, Randy Gregg Riggins and Michael Jackson Riggins, all of Thomaston. Fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
