Mrs. Claire H. Warren

Mrs. Claire H. Warren, 79, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Warren will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Thomaston with Rev. Bill Barber officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Warren will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Mrs. Warren was born in Thomaston on October 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Marvin H. and Agnes Dawson Holloman. She was a 1957 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and a 1959 graduate of West Georgia College. She was a retired bookkeeper for Rogers Cash n Carry. Mrs. Warren was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as Sunday School teacher for the Explorers class. Mrs. Warren is survived by her husband, Laverne Warren; two daughters, Julie (James) Galt of Marietta and Lori (Carl) Bissantz of Newnan; a son, Jeff (Kaye) Warren of Culloden; a sister, Jane Huckaby of Thomaston; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Allan Holloman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 208 South Church Street, Thomaston, GA 30286. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
