Mrs. Christine Standard Stansell

Mrs. Christine Standard Stansell, age 47, of Thomaston, died Thursday, September 21, 2023, at her residence. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Stansell was born in Thomaston on September 26, 1975, to B. C. Standard and Laura Gentry Standard. She was a graduate of Flint River Technical College and was employed as a cosmetologist at Kutz by Us. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Stansell; her daughter, Joiee Stansell (Hunter Evans); her son, Jacob Stansell (Catelyn); her mother, Laura Standard; her father B. C. Standard; two brothers: Ben (Brandy) Standard and Matt (Donna) Andrews; and one grandson, Braxton James Evans. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, Upson County Unit, 233 12th Street, Suite 710, Columbus, GA  31901.
