Mrs. Beverly Ann Coady Teal

Beverly Anne Coady Teal gained her heavenly wings on August 10, 2026. She was born on October 26, 1941 to Jack Coady and Beatrice Kilgore, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael Dennis Teal, brother Newt A. Coady, and sister Jacqueline McCoy. She is survived by daughter Teresa Teal, son Michael D. Teal II, grandson Thomas M. Teal and his wife Vianca, brother William Coady (Debbie), sister-in-law Sylvia Coady, brother-in-law Steve Teal (Fran), brother-in-law James McCoy and various nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beverly Teal was a gifted professional seamstress who could do it all, from a simple pant hem to creating beautiful dresses for an entire bridal party. A loving homemaker, she took joy in decorating and baking for every holiday—especially Christmas, when her home was always filled with the comforting scent of freshly baked cookies. Beverly was a avid gardener with a profound appreciation for all flowers and plants. She was also a dedicated genealogist who spent countless hours pouring over microfiche, photographs, and historical documents to trace our family’s history, along with the lineages of many others, back through the centuries.

Above all else, Beverly was a devoted Christian whose foundation of faith knew no limits. Her deep love for Christ shone brightly through every kiss and hug, every stitch she sewed, every cookie she baked and every family photo she cherished.

She was 84 years old and will be missed and treasured by many that she left an imprint on during her Christian walk through this world.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 15, at 2:00 PM, at Upson Memorial Gardens.
