Mr. William Mark Ard

Mr. William Mark Ard, age 60, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at his residence. 

Mark was born July 29, 1965, in Baldwin County, Georgia, a son of Mary Brookins Ard and the late Ben Jeff Ard, Sr. Mark was a self employed carpenter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Suzette Avery, and his brothers, Kevin Ard and Benji Ard. 

Mark is survived by his children, Katie Ard, Calvin Ard, and Curtis Ard; his mother, Mary Brookins Ard; his sister, Lucy (Jeff) McDaniel; his brother, Perry Ard; several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service for Mark will be held on Sunday, September 14, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Chet Yates officiating.
