Mr. Willard Lester Boyt

Mr. Willard Lester Boyt, age 89, of Thomaston, died Monday evening, April 13, 2020, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. Mr. Boyt was born on January 3, 1931, to the late Jim Will Boyt and Esther McCrae Boyt in Upson County. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a computer operator. Mr. Boyt is survived by his sisters, Helen (Larry) Sollenberger of Byron; Virginia Kendrick of Yatesville; and a brother, James (Connie) Boyt of Thomaston. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyt is preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Boyt and Iona “Dixie” Lowry, and a brother, Danny Boyt. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
