Mr. Tony Bloodworth

Mr. Tony Bloodworth, age 57, of Thomaston, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Tony was born on August 2, 1963, in Upson County, a son of the late Terrell Talmadge Bloodworth and the late Elizabeth Ann Bloodworth Stansell. He was a 1981 graduate of Upson County High School. He was a self-employed carpet layer. Tony enjoyed drag racing and loved motorcycles. Tony is survived by his daughter, Brittney (J. R.) Lowe of Thomaston; his son, Jason (Christina) Wainwright of Orlando, FL; his sister, Cindy Culverhouse of Thomaston; his six grandchildren: Raelyn Lowe, Camden Lowe, Jonah Wainwright, Jaileen Wainwright, Jacob Wainwright, and Justus Wainwright; his niece and nephew, Christina Culverhouse and Daniel Culverhouse; and his girlfriend, Angela Langford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Bloodworth; his grandparents, Doug and Aline Smith and Charlie and Essie Bloodworth; and his brother-in-law, Gaylon Culverhouse. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with expenses. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
