Mr. Timothy Kendall Davy

Timothy Kendall Davy. July 9, 1993 - May 17, 2024

Timothy was born of Navajo ancestry and was adopted by Brian and Susan Davy in Dahlonega, GA on October 31, 1994. Timothy was curious about everything, was widely read, and fiercely intelligent. Timothy graduated from Upson Lee High School in Thomaston, Ga, where he received the highest writing distinction during his senior year. Timothy attended Gordon College and Georgia State University. He was employed by AT&T in Atlanta.

Timothy had many interests, particularly in the arts and especially in theater. He had major parts in over 30 plays. His last was the lead role in a production of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal at Georgia State University. 

Timothy also studied the guitar and played piano by ear. He loved hiking and traveling. The greatest of Timothy’s talents was his sense of humor and kindness. He loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Nova. He loved God and above all he wanted to belong and feel connected. He will be remembered most of all for his intelligence and his kind heart.

Mr. Davy is survived by his parents, Brian and Sue Davy of Thomaston; aunt, Molly Callender and cousin Mark Callender of Dahlonega, GA; cousin, Christina Callender Wise of Cleveland, GA; uncle, Colonel Doug Davy (Robin) of Haymarket, VA; and cousins, Danielle and Devin Davy of Haymarket, VA.

Memorial services for Mr. Davy were held Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church of Thomaston, with Dr. Glenn Gilstrap officiating.
