Mr. Sidney E. Hannah

Mr. Sidney E. Hannah, 87, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Hannah will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Spencer Selph will officiate and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Hannah will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Mr. Hannah was born in Senoia on June 10, 1931, a son of the late Ernest Emmett and Willie Pearl Coleman Hannah. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served as a medic and also as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Hannah was a retired shop steward with Thomaston Mills. Mr. Hannah is survived by his wife, Carleen Selph Hannah; his daughter and son-in-law, Merrill and Bill Roan of Thomaston; his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Janice Hannah of Thomaston; five grandchildren, Stacey (Gary) Adams, Beth Speelman, Terri (Perry) Conner, Charlie (Candice) Roan, and Mary Kate (John) Allen; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
