Mr. Hubert Eubanks

Mr. Hubert Eubanks, age 91, of Marietta, died Friday evening, June 13, 2025, at Benton House of Woodstock.

Mr. Eubanks was born in Upson County on July 30, 1933, to the late John Thomas Eubanks and the late Fannie Lee Daniel Eubanks. He was a 1953 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. Mr. Eubanks enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves games and listening to classic country music - especially Johnny Cash. More than anything, however, he loved spending time with his family. Mr. Eubanks proudly served his country in the US Army in Korea.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, JoAnne Bradshaw Eubanks, and his brothers, Thomas Eubanks, Billy Eubanks, and Bobby Eubanks. Survivors include his daughter, Kathy (Gary) Smith; his son, Kevin (Heather) Eubanks, and a grandson, Josh (Madalyn) Eubanks. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, at 1:00 PM, at Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joey Smith officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home by 12:30 PM for a funeral procession to the cemetery on Thursday.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Eubanks to the Alzheimer's Association.
