Mr. Claude William Welch

Mr. Claude William Welch, 63, of Thomaston, died Monday evening, November 30, 2015, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Trice Cemetery. Elder Julius Stewart, Elder Billy Morgan, and Rev. Don Widner will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, December 2, from 6 until 8 PM, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Welch, son of the late Johnny and Margaret Raybon Welch, was a native of Thomson, GA. He was retired from Upson Regional Medical Center where he worked in plant services. Survivors include his wife, Rita McKinley Welch; a son, Andrew Cody Welch; mother-in-law, Peggie McKinley, all of Thomaston; two brothers, Larry Welch and David Welch, both of Thomson, GA; a brother-in-law, Marty (Lynn) McKinley, of Hampton, GA., and several nieces and nephews.
