Miriam Tisinger Garland

Mrs. Miriam Tisinger Garland, 92, formerly of Thomaston, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Lanett, AL. Mrs. Garland was born in Thomaston, a daughter of the late Leonard L. and Rheunette Richardson Tisinger. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Bleachery Division of Thomaston Mills. Mrs. Garland was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Garland is survived by a niece, Judy (Charles) Hardage of Lanett, AL., and a nephew, Marion Garland of Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas 'J. T.' Garland.
