Mildred Starling Mason

Mrs. Mason was a native of McIntosh, FL. She taught Kindergarten classes in Hialeah, FL., before moving to Thomaston in 1973. She became a homemaker, and also volunteered with the Upson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a member of the Church of Christ and served as a Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Mason is survived by two daughters, Judy (Larry) Napier of Nasvhille, TN, and Barbara Coward of Sylvester; two sons, Brian Mason of Nashville, TN, and Eddie (Kim) Mason of Thomaston; a brother, Edward Starling of Keystone Heights, FL; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mason, in 2006.
