Melba Ruth Tapley Storey

Mrs. Storey was born in Lowndes Co., GA, a daughter of the late Otis Q. Tapley and Clyde Lucile Sherling Tapley. She was employed for many years as a school secretary at East Thomaston School until her retirement in 1991. Mrs. Storey was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Allen (Iris) Storey of Marietta; two daughters, Lynn Storey of Thomaston and Sandra (Randy Parrott) Storey Long of Covington; five grandchildren, Katie Storey Pittman, Sarah Storey Pittman, Will Long, Chris Long and Desiree Carpenter; and two great grandchildren.. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Marvin Storey
