Mary Lizzie Hammond

Mrs. Hammond was born in Yatesville on April 7, 1920, a daughter of the late Jack Stallings and Ida Reynolds Stallings. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking and sewing. Mrs. Stallings also took great joy in taking care of small children. Mrs. Hammond was a member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Hammond is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Billy Penn of Yatesville; a brother, Lindbergh Stallings of Yatesville; two grandchildren, Billie Jo Urquhart of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Greg Coleman of Macon; and two great grandchildren.
