Mary Ellen Martin Middlebrooks

Mrs. Mary Ellen Martin Middlebrooks, 90, of Meansville, died Wednesday, December 12th, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Middlebrooks was a native of Jenkinsburg, and had lived in Pike County for 61 years. She was a graduate of Draughn Business College. Mrs. Middlebrooks was formerly employed as a paraprofessional for the Pike County School System. Mrs. Middlebrooks was a member of the Fincher United Methodist Church for 61 years and was also a member of the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her daughter, Beautye M. (Larry) Tyus of Winchester, TN; her son, Hal R. (Valerie) Middlebrooks of Stockbridge; cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Elrod of Griffin; and three grandchildren, Landon K. Tyus of Warner Robins, Miyon Tyus of Lawrenceville and Marlee Middlebrooks of Stockbridge.
