Marvin Mcclinton "Junior" Gilbert, Jr.

Mr. Marvin McClinton 'Junior' Gilbert, Jr., 85, of Thomaston, died Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Gilbert was a native and life-long resident of Thomaston, a son of the late Marvin McClinton Gilbert, Sr., and Cora Lee Stewart Gilbert. He was a self-employed brick mason since the age of 14. Mr. Gilbert was a member of the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. Mr. Gilbert is survived by his wife, Katie Huckaby Gilbert; two daughters, Joan G. Wisham of Pinellas Park, FL, and Brenda Eubanks of Clearwater, FL; two sons, Donald (Judy) Gilbert and David Gilbert, both of Thomaston; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
