Leonard "Gene" Birdsong

Mr. Birdsong was an Upson County native, born to Lyn and Sadie Morris Birdsong. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving his country for four years. Prior to his retirement Mr. Birdsong was a fork lift driver for General Motors. Mr. Birdsong is survived by his wife, JoAnn Keen Birdsong; his son, Steve (Jenie) Birdsong of Delaware; a brother, James (Jan) Streetman of Yatesville; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
