Laura Alaine Best

Ms. Best was a life-long resident of Thomaston and Upson County. She was a 1992 graduate of Upson High School and attended Gordon College. Ms. Best was the first girl to play Pee-Wee football in the Thomaston-Upson County Recreation program. She was a former real estate agent and was currently employed by the Waffle House. Ms. Best is survived by her parents, Ralph and Linda Best of The Rock; her companion, Brandi Wood of Thomaston; a son, Dathan Wood of Thomaston, her brother, Brad Best of The Rock; and a niece, Chelsee Best of Thomaston.
