Joseph Elmo "Joe" Mcgee

Mr. McGee was a native of Upson County. He was a graduate of the Class of 1946 of R. E. Lee Institute, and served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War era. Mr. McGee was a retired Gulf Life Insurance Company agent, having worked for that organization for 30 years. He was an avid private pilot and commercial pilot. Mr. McGee was a charter member of the Trinity Baptist Church and served as a Deaon. He is survived by his sons, Steve (Gay) McGee of Spring Hill, TN., and Russ (Cindy) McGee of Thomaston; and a brother, William Dan McGee of Peachtree City. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
