Joseph Buford Canady

Mr. Canady was a native of Alabama but had lived in Thomaston for many years. He was the owner of Canady Pools. Mr. Canady was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church for over 50 years and served as a Sunday School teacher and Deacon. Mr. Canady is survived by his wife, Peggy A. Canady; three daughters, Kathy (Walter) Griffin of Meansville, Kasey L. (Jason) Casto of Dallas and Cathy Sue (John) Ettel of Newnan; a son, Joe (Wanda) Canady of Thomaston; a sister, Fran (Jerry) Rogers of Buford; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Canady.
