Joel K. Brooks

Mr. Joel K. Brooks, 69, of Thomaston died Saturday evening, June 29, at his residence. Mr. Brooks was retired from the Thomaston-Upson County School System where he worked in the maintenance department, and he was previously employed with Thomaston Mills. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Clark. Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Moore Brooks; a son, Mr. Kenneth Brooks of Griffin, GA; and a daughter, Mrs. Karen (Chris) Mills of Macon, GA. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
