Jean E. Matthews

Mrs. Jean Matthews, 86, of 204 Firetower Rd., Thomaston, died Monday, July 9th, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Matthews was an Upson County native. She had worked in the Bleachery Division of Thomaston Mills but later in life she became a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Hendricks Baptist Church and was also a member of the Thurston Homemakers Club. Mrs. Matthews is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Kathy Matthews of Thomaston, and a granddaughter, Katie Matthews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Magruder A. Matthews. The family of Mrs. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
