James Edward Teal

Mr. James Edward Teal, 71, of Thomaston, died Monday, November 22nd, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Teal was a native of Pike County. Prior to his retirement he was employed in the rate department of Old Dominion Freight Lines. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Mr. Teal was preceded in death by a brother, WIlliam Frank Teal and three sisters, Jewell Cox, Mary Mahaley and Elsie Pugh. He is survived by his wife, Jackie B. Teal; his daughter and her fiance, Merle Teal and Gary Woodall of Thomaston; his son, Eric (Amie)Teal of Forsyth; three sisters, Lois Gatlin of Thomaston, Joyce Lewis of Roberta and Yvonne Pilcher of New Orleans; three brothers, Alton Teal, J. B. Teal and Louie Teal, all of Thomaston; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
