Dr. Douglas Lidelle "Dale" Roberson

Dr. Roberson was a native of Rome, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Dr. Roberson pastored the following churches since 1975: Crawford Baptist Church in Crawford, AL; Parkview Baptist Church in Eufaula, AL; Johnson Chapel Baptist Church in Cusseta, AL; Liberty Baptist Church in Opelika, AL; Valley Grove Baptist Church in Thomaston; Thundering Springs Baptist Church in Leesburg; Marshall Memorial Baptist Church in Eatonton; and Molena Baptist Church, where he served until his retirement. He played racketball and enjoyed NASCAR, golf, gardening, woodworking and was a great husband, dad, and granddad. Dr. Roberson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred H. Roberson; three daughters, Janice R. (Scott) Nolin of Opelika, AL, Penny R. (Tim) Adkinson of Knoxville, TN, and Tammy O. Roberson of Covington; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
