Daniel Kenneth "Boone" Salter

Mr. Salter was a native of Thomaston. He was a 2004 graduate of Upson Lee High School. Mr. Salter was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, holding the rank of Corporal. He was on active duty from 2004 thru 2008, then joined the US Marine Corps Reserve. He was attending college in Newbury, OH. Mr. Salter was preceded in death by his father, Kenzie 'Ken' Salter III and his grandfathers, W. T. Maynard and Kenzie Salter, Jr. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Donlea and Butch Ryals; a sister, Dakota Boyd; a brother, Matthew Alvarado; his maternal grandmother, Betty Maynard and paternal grandmother, Judy Salter; his aunts, Nan Ryals and Diane Ryals; and his uncle, Russell Salter.
