Mr. Clarence B. Carder, Jr., age 80, of 110 Kim Street, died Monday Night in the Carl Vinson Veterans Administratoin Medical Center in Dubin. Mr. Carder was a native of Atlanta. He had been a resident of Thomaston for several years and was a retired foreman with U. S. Can Co. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Mae Batten Carder, and a brother, Joseph Carder. Mr. Carder is survived by: 2 Daughters - Mrs. Rita Donaldson White, of Bainbridge; and Mrs. Debbie(Mickey) Gresham, of Thomaston; 1 son - Mr. Keith Carder, of Alabama; 4 sisters and 2 brothers; 2 Granddaughtrers - Selena White Grimsley and Kasey Marie Parker; 3 Grandson - Gerald Lee White, Jr., Justin Keith Swinford, and Brandon Lee Swinford; 1 Great-granddaughter - Shelby Nichole Grimsley; 5 Great-Grandsons - Perry Blake Grimsley, Morgan Blair White, River Parker, Adam Swinford, and Brayden Swinford. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home from 2 o'clock until 4 o'clock Wednesday Afternoon.
