Charlie Smith

Mr. Charlie Smith, age 67, of 1829 Waymanville Road, died Monday Afternoon, February 14th, at his residence. Mr. Smith was a native of Upson County. He was retired from Allied Wastes as a truck driver and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, having been called in the last draft for the war. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Mr. Smith is survived by: His Wife - Mrs. June B. Smith; daughter - Mrs. Donna S. (Michael A.) Hood; Grandsons - Mr. Joshua M. Culverhouse, Mr. James A. Hood, and Mr. Travis A. Hood, all of Thomaston; Sister - Mrs. Kathryn S. Buchanan, of San Antonio, Texas.
