Charles Lucious "Luke" Owsley, Jr.

Mr. Charles Lucious "Luke" Owsley, Jr., 60, of Thomaston, died on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM in South View Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Redden officiating. The family of Mr. Owsley will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Mr. Owsley was born in Thomaston on September 21, 1960, a son of the late Charles Lucious Owsley, Sr., and the late Nadean Boyd Owsley. He was a heavy equipment operator and also worked in the construction industry. Mr. Owsley was a member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Tabernacle. Mr. Owsley is survived by a daughter, Heather; an aunt, Sally Ivie of Utah; and an uncle, David (Shirley) Owsley of Thomaston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a his brother, Billy Gay Owsley. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
