Carolyn S. Edmondson

Mrs. Edmondson was a native of Upson County, born to the late Talmadge E. Shumate and Pearl Smith Shumate. She was a retired sewing room operator for Thomaston Mills. Mrs. Edmondson was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church where she was a part of the Sandra Stubbs Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Edmondson is survived by her husband, J. W. Edmondson; three daughters, Christy (Dr. Drennan) Dobbs and Lisa (Glen) Stevens, both of Thomaston, and Rhonda (Sergio) Gregoretti of Augusta; a sister, Christine Bailey of Thomaston; and two grandchildren, Capt. Jonathan W. (Jenna) Robinson of Columbus and Will Stevens of Thomaston.
