Carlton M. Morris

Mr. Morris was a life-long resident of Thomaston, a son of the late Rev. John Henry Morris and Minnie Cotney Morris. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Thomaston Mills. He was a member of the Thomaston Church of God. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Riggins Morris; two daughters, Roselyn (Gary) Jarrell and Miss Elaine Morris, both of Thomaston; two sons, Col. (RET) Daniel (Jean) Brannon of Stafford, VA, and Mike (Charlotte) Morris of Thomaston; a brother, Tom (Hilda) Morris of Jeffersonville; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
