Billy F. Butts, Sr.

Mr. Billy F. Butts, Sr., 80, of 1545 Delray Rd., Thomaston, died Sunday, January 15th, 2012 at his home. Mr. Butts was a native of Upson County, a son of the late Julian F. Butts and Willie Mae Dinkins Butts. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Butts was a retired supply manager for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Mr. Butts is survived by his wife, Mary W. Butts; a daughter, Angela (John) Haygood of Yatesville; two sons, Billy F. (Janet) Butts, Jr., of Brooks and Brock F. Butts of Roanoke, AL; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
