Alton Childree

Alton Childree, age 64, of Childree Road, Thomaston, died Saturday, November 6, 2010, in Spalding Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Upson County. Prior to his illness, he was employed by Sherwood Clinic, as a currier. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Garland Childree; mother, Myrtle E. Childree; and a daughter, Andrea Barbette Childree. Mr. Childree is survived by his wife; Mrs. Cheryl Smith Childree; two daughters, Sherri Watts, of Destin FL: Bridgette (Kevin) Chambley, of Yatesville; a sister, Mildred Lackey and Anthony McAlum; two grandsons, Matthew Reid Watts; Thomas Benjamin Chambley: and a granddaughter, Anna Clare Chambley. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
